Your First Visit to Our Eagan Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

Most new chiropractic patients contact our office in Eagan because their pain or problem is significantly affecting their lives. Your first visit is focused on getting some relief. You will be greeted by our warm and friendly staff who will gather some background information. This includes details of your condition as well as insurance and billing information.

You will then meet with the Doctor of Chiropractic and he will sit down with you and review the details of your problem as well as any contributing factors such as diet and lifestyle. An examination will follow to determine what options to recommend. The type of examination depends on the Doctor of Chiropractic. There may be recommendations of more in depth testing, such as x-rays, lab work up or other testing. Some of these other tests (such as x-rays) may need to be performed at another appointment time and /or off site of our Eagan facility. You will then be advised what condition you are dealing with and on your treatment options.

You will then be given the opportunity to receive chiropractic care, if appropriate and if you desire. Most patients experience some level of immediate relief after receiving care. Total time varies based type, duration and intensity of injury or condition and prior chiropractic experience/care. Typical first visit lasts between 30 to 60 minutes. A typical alternative care visit description can be found on our alternative care page. We will try to verify coverage during your first visit and let you know the specifics of your insurance and financial arrangements.

Dr Gregg Asks some important questions of interest to Eagan residents - Chiropractor Eagan Dr Gregg Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Why are chiropractors wary of the germ theory?
Louis Pasteur originated the idea that germs caused disease. Yet, on his deathbed he recanted, declaring, "It's not the seed, but the soil." Meaning, it's not the germ that causes disease, but the condition of the body that allows the germ to thrive. Chiropractic care in our Eagan office is designed to bolster your resistance so germs don't see you as a good host.
