Regular Visits

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

After the treatment you will stop by the front desk to schedule for the next appointment. Most conditions require multiple treatments. Many conditions have been lingering for a long time and were just "triggered" recently. Each treatment will "hold" differently for different people depending on age, conditioning, nutritional status, occupation, stress, posture, well you get the picture. You may schedule multiple appointments from a week to months out. It is not mandatory, but it often speeds up the time you spend waiting to check in. Expect this visit to last from15 to 30 minutes.

After the first two visits, the treatment may vary depending on your response. We may use different therapies to get the best response. As your condition improves, your frequency of care decreases. Routine visits may take between five and 15 minutes.  If you have pressing time constraints, please let our front desk know.

How long it will take to restore you to feeling normal will vary due to a variety of factors as stated above. Remember that this is a partnership and we need to come to an agreement on what level of care you need and what level of care you want. Once your pain has diminished and you have "normal" function, you will have the option of continuing your care on a "wellness" basis. Because we live in a gravity environment, subjected to stressful postures, stressful schedules, less than optimal exercise, diet and nutritional habits, your body (the nervous system in particular), is continually being overstimulated and eventually exhausted and compromised.

Regular chiropractic care as well as supplementing with essential nutrients, detoxification and minimizing mental and emotional stress helps your body adapt and cope to live a healthier life.

Dr Gregg Asks some important questions of interest to Eagan residents - Chiropractor Eagan Dr Gregg Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Why are chiropractors wary of the germ theory?
Louis Pasteur originated the idea that germs caused disease. Yet, on his deathbed he recanted, declaring, "It's not the seed, but the soil." Meaning, it's not the germ that causes disease, but the condition of the body that allows the germ to thrive. Chiropractic care in our Eagan office is designed to bolster your resistance so germs don't see you as a good host.
